GRASSROOTS POWER CIC

Harry Riste, Founder of GrassRoots Power CIC, spent many years supporting community sport; his volunteer work culminating in undertaking a club chairmanship and delivering a club transformation over 18 months. Then with a passion to see sustainability break into sport, Harry, embracing his commercial background, used his keen observation and experience of community challenges, to improve the supply chain in community facilities management; finding ways to introduce efficiencies.

GrassRoots Power CIC has evolved through multiple pilots and case studies in collaboration with clubs and leagues in The National League System, becoming an experienced and specialist Community Interest Company, with proven success in adding sustainable value; bringing efficiency, savings and standardisation, while simplifying management compliance.

‘Support sustainability by ensuring the data gathered can accurately inform and inspire those in a position to make a difference’

Whether you are a club committee member, an experienced Ground Grader, County Association Development Manager, Foundation Grant Manager or Club Facilities Manager looking for ways to become more efficient; we appreciate that sports facilities management requires continued review which results in extensive communications.

GrassRoots Power CIC is seeking to add value to National League Systems facility management by transforming processes and helping raise standards. Our Facilities Management software is designed to help significantly with compliance and industry projections, GrassRoots Power is the only management software tailored to supporting volunteers while delivering a cloud based digital upgrade of the National Ground Grading and Floodlighting Inspection and Survey Reporting processes.

The system utilises this real time data to inform the club ‘Development Plan’ a software option for all clubs, linked to facilities matters arising from the Ground Grading Process. This simple to use action plan allows Clubs, Leagues & Governing Bodies full visibility of remedial works required, and in turn informs the potential funding applications required. This service allows for seamless submission of grant applications.

“Research highlighted the need for a bespoke club and facilities software system, to support and simplify ground grading, floodlight testing and the FSIF grant process, while providing an invaluable tool for volunteers. The vision was a cloud-based management tool for club, league, County FA and Football Association, with multi stakeholder dashboards; bringing environmental benefits, efficiencies, cost and time savings to all stakeholders.”
